Tonight, the new moon moves through Capricorn.

In astrology, Capricorn governs structure, responsibility, and the slow work of building something meant to last. Under this sky, beginnings do not arrive with spectacle. They arrive with intention.

This is a dark moon concerned with foundations rather than wishes. What takes shape now may feel modest or unfinished, but it is anchored. It asks what you are willing to commit to quietly, without recognition, and return to over time.

Capricorn does not rush growth. It favors patience, endurance, and careful placement: stones laid one by one, knowing the path will be walked again.

If you feel drawn toward order, planning, or the steady tending of something already begun, let that be your guide. Not all beginnings need inspiration. Some only need resolve.

The moon will return by degrees. What is set in motion here is meant to endure.

Under the new moon, choose a moment of quiet.

Sit with a single sheet of paper and write one thing you are willing to tend to over time. Not a wish, and not a demand simply a commitment you can return to steadily.

Fold the paper once. Place it somewhere you will encounter it again: inside a book, beneath a candle, tucked into a drawer. Let it rest there through the coming cycle.

No action is required tonight beyond naming what matters.

The work begins when you return to it.
